Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL Driver with Hazmat role based in Greenville, MI. The driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver welding equipment, industrial gases, and medical gases to customers across West Michigan. Day-to-day tasks include planning delivery routes, loading and unloading cylinders and related products, verifying delivery documentation, and ensuring all loads are properly secured. The role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, company safety policies, and hazardous materials handling procedures. The driver will interact with customers during deliveries, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, complete inspection reports, and coordinate with the dispatch team regarding schedules and any delivery issues. Qualifications Commercial driving expertise, including a valid CDL Class A license and safe Truck Driving experience. Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Hazmat requirements, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance. Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and Unloading cylinders and equipment safely. Experience operating and maneuvering a Truck in varied weather, traffic, and delivery conditions. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings. Strong attention to detail for delivery documentation, vehicle inspections, and product verification. Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients on-site. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow established routes and schedules.
