Job Description

Truck Driver for Thursday-Friday 5:30a start time

PURPOSE/SCOPE

Responsible for driving delivery truck, transporting products, following predetermined delivery routes, and delivering products in a safe and timely manner.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Transport and deliver new products to clients in a safe and timely manner. Follow planned routes, timetables, and local traffic rules to guarantee safe and efficient delivery. Assure loads are loaded in a stable and safe manner. Double-check orders before and after delivery to guarantee correctness and accuracy. Assure customer satisfaction by interacting with them in a polite and professional manner. Compile any delivery-related paperwork or reports that are required. Report any damage or worn equipment on the truck and/or van to Logistics Manager. Maintain clean presentable vehicle.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record are required. Previous experience as a delivery driver or related job preferred. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills and time management skills
