Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and friendly delivery of products. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while ensuring timely deliveries. Load and unload merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring safety at all times. Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, building positive relationships through excellent customer service skills. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays encountered during routes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or retail store delivery preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, change, and route planning. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Physical ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform merchandising tasks as needed. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices is highly desirable.
