Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering delicious meals directly to our customers' doors. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll enjoy the thrill of navigating routes efficiently while providing a positive experience for every customer you serve. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Plan efficient routes using mobile devices to ensure prompt delivery times while minimizing fuel consumption. Deliver orders directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or multiple orders to prevent injury. Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or delays promptly. Assist in warehouse operations when required, including moving inventory and operating material handling equipment safely. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or related roles involving manual handling and moving heavy loads. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation and communication. Knowledge of safe lifting practices, weight handling in the workplace, and adherence to DOT regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout shifts.
