Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products according to scheduled routes. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools to meet delivery deadlines. Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices during loading and unloading processes. Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and address any concerns professionally to foster strong customer relationships. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and maintain vehicle safety standards. Manage paperwork such as delivery logs, invoices, and route documentation accurately and promptly. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and heavy lifting practices. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation. Ability to perform basic math accurately and efficiently under pressure. Organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and documentation effectively.
