Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking motivated and dependable 1099 Furniture Delivery Drivers and Helpers to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and building furniture to customers' homes and business locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving skills and physical strength, will ensure a smooth delivery experience from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of our company, delivering quality products with professionalism and care. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission to deliver furniture efficiently across designated routes Load and unload furniture, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with furniture placement, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon set up and delivery Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after route, reporting any maintenance issues or damages promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery logs, receipts, and customer signatures Follow safety protocols diligently during all loading, unloading, assembling and driving activities to prevent accidents or injuries Be Respectful of customers and their homes Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, helper, courier, or similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting Valid Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record; DOT Physical Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Physical ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly and perform moving tasks safely Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must bring the tools required to assemble furniture- such as drill or impact, bit case, box knife, gloves, ECT. Ability to work closely with others while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
