Performance Food Group is seeking a dependable Class B Delivery Driver to safely transport food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers. Based from our Richmond-area operation, you'll complete local routes, load and unload product, verify orders, and provide professional customer service at each stop. This role requires strong attention to safety, DOT compliance, and accurate documentation. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, with opportunities for growth across logistics, supply chain, and broader PFG operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B delivery truck to deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers on assigned routes Load, unload, and verify products using invoices or handheld devices, ensuring accurate and damage-free deliveries Provide professional, customer-focused service at each stop, addressing basic delivery issues and communicating customer needs Follow all DOT, company, and food safety regulations, including pre/post-trip inspections and safe lifting practices Maintain delivery documentation, logs, and electronic records accurately and on time Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve delivery challenges and improve route efficiency Report vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly to supervisors Support a safety-first, performance-driven culture by adhering to company policies and participating in trainings Required Skills Class B commercial driving Local route navigation Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting DOT safety and compliance Manual and pallet jack operation Order verification and paperwork Time management and route planning Customer service Basic handheld/electronic delivery systems Safe lifting and material handling
