Job Description
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locationsLoad and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all itemsPlan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiencyVerify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package deliveryMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionConduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptlyProvide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionallyAdhere to all traffic laws and company safety policiesAssist with additional tasks as assigned by the dispatch teamQualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technologyStrong time management and organizational abilitiesPhysical stamina to lift and carry packages of varying weightsExceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanorAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable)Familiarity with Lindstrom and surrounding areas preferredPrevious delivery or courier experience is a plusFlexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as neededKnowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practicesAbility to read maps and follow written/verbal instructionsAttention to detail for accurate package handling and deliveryAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
