Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver parts across designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks Verify delivery orders, ensure accuracy of shipments, and document delivery details using paper invoice, return receipts and paper logs. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to promote safety and efficiency during daily routes Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to confirm delivery schedules and address any route changes or issues Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery and addressing their needs promptly Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items to prevent injury and ensure compliance with workplace weight handling policies Between deliveries, stay busy with light warehouse duties and organizing Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with commercial driving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with safe lifting practices is essential Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and route driving best practices Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts is advantageous Strong customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple deliveries Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills and proactive attitude make a real impact!
