Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and safety protocols Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately using mobile devices or delivery software Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, moving inventory, and organizing shipments for smooth dispatching Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on box truck or commercial truck driving Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, manual handling, and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not required depending on vehicle size Familiarity with DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual transmission vehicles if applicable Experience in route driving, courier services, or personal vehicle delivery is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently while following safety protocols and adhering to traffic laws Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills make a difference!
