Delivery Driver (Earth City, MO) Raymond Central is looking for a reliable and committed delivery driver in the St. Louis area to support our field service technicians onsite at customer locations. Join the Raymond Central family and come see the infinite opportunities that await you today! Deliver goods while operating a half ton company issued van/vehicle. Load and unload cargo. Record amount and type of cargo being delivered. Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road. Follow all applicable traffic laws. Inspect their company vehicle before and after the trip, and record any defects they find. Follow proper accident procedures if an accident occurs. Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel. Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment. Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking. Get goods to client on time. Transport hazardous materials. Take special precautions while driving. Maintain log of all trips. Consistent communication and interaction with service techs and customers. Some overtime will be available based on business needs.
Physical Job Demands:
Push, pull and lift to 100lbs occasionally. Regularly lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Activities require handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power and air tools, fasteners and other small parts.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Prior forklift operator experience Willingness to run tire press and/or learn to do so
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED Must have clean driving record and maintain throughout employment #RCCORP
