Job Description
Overview The Medical Equipment Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that medical equipment is delivered, maintained, and serviced to meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients. This position involves route driving to various locations, handling equipment with care, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be comfortable with heavy lifting. Duties Deliver and pick up medical equipment from healthcare facilities and patients' homes. Operate vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic regulations. Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading equipment. Perform routine maintenance checks on medical equipment to ensure functionality. Assist in the organization and management of warehouse inventory. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and equipment status. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations including the use of pallet jacks and forklifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Previous experience as a van driver or courier is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position requires a proactive individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality service in the medical field.
