Delivery Driver
Job Description
JM Test Systems is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our customers and logistics operations in the Kansas City area. This is more than just a driving position. Our drivers are an important connection between JM Test Systems and our customers. You'll be responsible for safely picking up and delivering customer and company equipment, ensuring orders are accurate, communicating with customers and our internal logistics team, and helping keep our operations moving. What You'll Do Complete daily pickup and delivery routes throughout the assigned territory Safely load, secure, transport, and unload company and customer equipment Verify equipment, quantities, paperwork, and customer information at each stop Obtain required signatures and complete proof-of-delivery documentation Communicate route changes, delays, customer requests, or other issues to the logistics team Provide professional and friendly service while representing JM Test Systems at customer locations Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and in good operating condition Follow all company safety requirements, fleet policies, and applicable
DOT/FMCSA
regulations Use company systems and mobile applications to manage routes, deliveries, and required documentation Travel to industrial facilities, plants, refineries, and other customer locations as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Previous professional driving, delivery, logistics, warehouse, or fleet experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily route with minimal supervision Dependable, organized, and comfortable adapting when schedules or customer needs change Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs. Comfortable with early start times, extended days, and occasional overnight travel depending on route needs Ability to safely operate company vehicles in varying traffic and weather conditions Driver Requirements Because this is a safety-sensitive driving position, candidates must meet the following requirements at the time of hire: Be at least 25 years old Possess a valid driver's license from your state of legal residence that authorizes operation of vehicles or combinations with a GVWR of 10,001-26,001 lbs. A standard personal-use driver's license is not sufficient for this position.
