Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part Time Warehouse and Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine warehouse operations with professional driving responsibilities, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will play a vital role in supporting our logistics operations by handling cargo, operating specialized equipment, and delivering goods with precision and care. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, planning deliveries across local, driving routes. Manage logistics cargo handling with precision, including freight loading/unloading, trailer swaps, and container transfers. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, inspections, and compliance logs in accordance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for each route. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or related logistics cargo handling roles. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulation, and safety standards for truck driving. Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual techniques while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading processes involving freight or freight containers.
