Schedule:

Delivery Associates should expect 10-hour shifts to be typical. Full-time team members generally work a schedule of approximately 4 days per week , based on business needs and route availability. At least 1 weekend day is required. Exact schedules may vary based on Amazon volume, route availability, seasonality, and business needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely operate a company delivery vehicle in varying road and weather conditions Safely and efficiently handle and deliver packages while meeting applicable delivery expectations. Perform required safety inspections on Company vehicle Load, organize, transport, and deliver packages Use a company-provided handheld device for navigation, package scanning, and delivery information Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, safety requirements, and Company policies. Provide professional and courteous customer service, including during challenging or unexpected situations. Communicate effectively with support team to ensure deliveries are completed Report safety concerns, accidents, injuries, vehicle/property damage, and other incidents promptly Assist teammates with routes when requested by Dispatch Keep pace in physically demanding job; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations. Walking and climbing stairs frequently. Bending, reaching, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying packages. Remaining focused and attentive in a fast-paced delivery environment. Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana) Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Delivery experience is a plus, but it is not required. Previous experience in delivery, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, military service, customer service, or other fast-paced environments may be helpful.
