Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle or company-provided box truck to deliver goods to various locations efficiently and on time Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Follow designated routes and traffic regulations diligently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates Provide excellent customer service by ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and courteously Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records accurately Handle heavy lifting tasks responsibly, including moving items within warehouses or customer locations when necessary Requirements Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer interaction Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, including manual handling and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or carts Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or commercial truck is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during load & unload activities Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safety at all times Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery updates Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere strictly to schedules Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items regularly, and perform manual handling tasks efficiently Embark on a rewarding career that combines driving expertise with exceptional customer service!
