Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a FedEx Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering packages efficiently and safely to our valued customers. As a vital link in our logistics network, you will operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks to bring packages directly to homes and businesses. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help us maintain our reputation for reliable service and customer satisfaction. Duties Six day week work schedule. Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, and vans to complete scheduled routes. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and Hand dollies. Deliver packages accurately to designated addresses, ensuring proper handling and placement. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company policies during all driving activities. Use mobile devices or handheld scanners to track deliveries, update statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after routes to ensure optimal operation. Requirements You must be 21 years of age minimum. Pass the Fedex background check and Drug test. Driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer interaction is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Commercial driving or truck driving experience is a plus. Physical capability for heavy lifting, moving packages, and manual handling in compliance with safe lifting practices. Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe driving practices. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation and package scanning is desirable. Strong organizational skills for load & unload procedures, route planning, and time management. Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the FedEx ground terminal in Pearl MS.
