Overview Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, where you'll be the face of our company, delivering and installing essential appliances with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service, ensuring each client's experience is seamless and satisfying. You will be responsible for safely transporting appliances, performing precise installations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional support to our valued customers. Your energetic approach and mechanical aptitude will drive success in this fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to residential or commercial locations, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws Unload appliances from delivery trucks using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Install appliances accurately according to schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, plumbing requirements, and manufacturer specifications Troubleshoot equipment issues during installation or post-delivery, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to identify solutions Use ladder equipment safely for high-reach installations or repairs while maintaining safety standards Connect appliances to electrical systems, plumbing lines, or ventilation as needed, applying plumbing and electrical skills with precision Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, or assembly of appliances using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal operation Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction after installation or delivery Qualifications Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service work involving electrical work, plumbing, or mechanical systems Familiarity with schematics, ladder use for electrical troubleshooting, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) activities Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in various environments; delivery driver experience is preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and assembly equipment Knowledge of refrigeration systems and appliance repair processes is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Capable of following detailed instructions while managing multiple deliveries and installations in a timely manner Join us to bring energy and expertise into every delivery!
