RWR Logistics, Inc. is now hiring a full time driver to deliver and pickup packages on a step van for an established FedEx Ground route. We are looking for hard-working, dependable people with good customer service skills to join our team. Integrity and honesty is a must. This is a permanent position.

This is not a typical 9-5 job. It is physical work and can have long hours depending on the deliveries for the day. A fully trained driver should expect to finish the route each day up to 5:00pm.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a valid driver's license (CDL is not required)
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Meet physical demands of this position (packages can weigh up to 150lbs)
• Must be able to pass a Background Check, Drug Test, and D.O.T. Physical
• Have a personal cell phone
• Have a clean driving record, No Felonies, No DWI convictions within the past 7 years, no more than 3 moving violations or a preventable accident in the last 3 years RWR Logistics Inc.

A FedEx Ground driver is responsible for delivering packages on a predetermined route in a safe manner. At the start of a route, the driver reports to the FedEx terminal located in Concord, NC dressed in the proper uniform. The driver conducts a pre-trip inspection of their vehicle then inspects all the packages to be delivered (the vehicle is preloaded by package handlers the morning of). Routinely drivers will attend a morning meeting to discuss safety and any new policies. The rest of the shift is spent driving the route delivering and picking up packages. A driver's basic duties are to remove packages from the truck, walk them to the door and get a signature. If a signature is not required, drivers may leave packages in a safe place. Each driver has a hand held scanner that has information for each package. Packages that are picked up will need to be loaded onto the truck and scanned before you depart for the next stop. After all packages are delivered and pickups are completed, the driver then returns back to the Concord terminal. Before leaving the terminal, the driver will conduct a post trip inspection of their truck, close out their scanner, turn all paper work into the office and ends their shift.
