Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team.

WE ARE ONLY HIRING PART TIME, EARLY MORNING AND/OR LATE EVENING PICK UPS.

(EXAMPLE

OF TIMES 4

30am, 5:30am, 9:30pm, 11:40pm)The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting flight crews between Asheville airport and downtown hotel. Driver must be customer oriented while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

UBER DRIVERS DOING TRIPS IN BETWEEN OUR PICKUP TIMES!

Duties Pick up and return our van to location near airport for trips. Must be able to lift crew luggage in and out of van. Be timely to hotel and airport for pickups. Expect flight to land and take about 20 minutes to get out to your vehicle before leaving Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Expect that there will be traffic and Sometimes flight delays that you will need to understand and wait for. If delay exceeds an hour, you will be paid extra for that Will use our van at pickup location. Gas in van will be full You will be responsible for topping gas off after your trips And we will reimburse half of you gas back to you, in addition to the $40/trip rate Requirements Valid driver's license No criminal record. understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Ability to lift luggage and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
