Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and reduce delivery times. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting of packages or merchandise. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer experience. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record and knowledge of route driving techniques. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, or quantities as needed during deliveries. Experience in merchandising or sales is a plus for upselling opportunities. Background in military service can be advantageous due to discipline and organizational expertise.
