Box Truck Driver - Part Time - No Overnights. Arrowood Designs, in Norwood, NC, is looking for someone interested in driving our Box Truck and helping unload cabinets and other custom millwork at Commercial Construction Sites mainly in North and South Carolina but sometimes in Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia. Trips are generally planned a week in advance and you can decide to accept or decline to drive. In other words, you are your own Boss. If our delivery does not fit into your schedule, you can decline to drive and we can call another driver. The decision to drive is entirely up to you. A CDL, Commercial Driver's License, is NOT Required , but we do require a good driving record. We deliver in 24 foot box trucks, cargo vans or SUVs depending on the job and what is being delivered. This would be an ideal job for a Door Dash Driver, Retired Person, Student, Fireman or anyone with a flexible schedule. You must be able to follow instructions and be an effective communicator, via phone, text and email. You must be able to move a cabinet weighing 50 pounds with hand trucks. Please DO NOT apply if you use/abuse alcohol/drugs, have a recent felony conviction or are incapable of being on time or following directions. Many of our projects are on US Government Military Bases and require a back ground check to get on base. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Arrowood Designs, Inc. is a rapidly growing commercial cabinet and millwork company, located 45 miles east of Charlotte, NC. We primarily work as a sub contractor for large commercial construction companies.
