Sales Associate / Delivery Assistant Blue Ridge Safe is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Sales Associate / Delivery Assistant to join our team. This position will primarily focus on helping customers find the right safe for their home or business while also assisting our professional delivery team with safe deliveries and installations as needed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, is comfortable working with customers, and isn't afraid of hard work or getting their hands dirty. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional showroom experience Learn and maintain knowledge of our safe products, features, security ratings, fire ratings, and accessories Help customers determine the best safe for their needs and budget Answer customer questions and provide knowledgeable product recommendations Prepare quotes and assist with sales transactions Maintain an organized, clean, and professional showroom Follow up with customers as needed to help close sales Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and delivering safes Assist the delivery team with safe placement, installation, and bolt-down services Properly handle and protect customer property during deliveries Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Blue Ridge Safe Perform other showroom and delivery-related duties as needed Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a sales environment and talking with customers Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy objects (we handle safes 200lbs-2,000 lbs.) Must be physically capable of assisting with safe deliveries and installations Valid driver's license with a good driving record Previous sales, retail, safe, moving, delivery, or related experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and assisting with the movement of heavy safes and equipment. This is not a strictly inside sales position. The right candidate must be willing and able to assist with deliveries when needed.
