Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles to deliver packages to customers' homes and businesses Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or material handling equipment Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs or maintenance as needed to ensure optimal performance Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and safe lifting practices during all driving and manual handling tasks Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including moving inventory and supporting logistics activities Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving and customer interaction Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as moving carts Commercial driving skills with knowledge of box trucks, van drivers, or courier services; familiarity is a plus Mechanical experience or mechanic background preferred; capable of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Knowledge of heavy lifting, safe lifting practices, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safety during manual tasks Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols for commercial truck driving Ability to operate mobile devices effectively for route management and communication Join us in delivering excellence!
