Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks, to deliver goods across designated routes while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals and optimal use of resources. Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication, addressing their needs and providing excellent customer service. Conduct heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, invoices, and route reports, following organizational standards. Keep vehicles clean, well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance. Requirements Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, weights, and measurements accurately. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
