Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Follow established routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Use mobile devices for route navigation, package scanning, and communication with dispatch teams Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly and courteously, addressing any questions or concerns professionally Conduct safety checks on vehicles regularly, ensuring compliance with safe lifting practices and heavy lifting protocols Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation throughout your shift Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving is a plus Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques Ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Join us as an Amazon Delivery Driver (DA) where your drive makes a difference!
