Description:
Drive company's vehicles to deliver such items as millwork and other projects materials and supplies to work sites or the shop Record sales or deliveries information on delivery record. Operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Load and unload trucks. Responsible to analyze work order to plan the work within the appropriate time frame and meet all quality standards. Follow best practices and procedures to best achieve high quality and efficient results, when in doubt ask a Forman. Ensure quality assurance in every component, physical checks must be completed periodically on each component. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and inspections of the company vehicles. Responsible for keeping all vehicles up to date with maintenance and inspection. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsible for immediately reporting all unsafe conditions and acts. Responsible for immediately reporting all damaged components that do not meet the specifications and the quality standards. Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and the Production Manager.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification Two (2) years' previous professional driving experience or related experience Must have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles Able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis Able to work night, weekends and extended hours as needed
