Overview We are looking for a reliable and motivated Catering Delivery Driver to join our team in. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious food offerings to customers efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, strong customer service skills, and a good understanding of safe driving practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values punctuality and professionalism. Duties Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle to deliver catering orders across designated routes. Load and unload food items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Assist with warehouse operations including moving supplies and managing inventory as needed. Use mobile devices to track routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with the team. Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles is preferred but not required. Warehouse experience or familiarity with material handling equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is advantageous. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, route planning, and adherence to DOT regulations. Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates.
