Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering trucks efficiently to various destinations. Some weeks are extremely busy, some are lighter. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes while adhering to delivery schedules. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles including bucket trucks, TMA trucks, Scissor trucks and water trucks ensuring that all freight is delivered in a timely manner. Duties Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records as required by law. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Experience Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required) Experience as a delivery driver or route driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Previous experience in freight transportation or operating different types of trucks such as flatbed or dump truck is advantageous. Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways is beneficial for efficient route planning.
