In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting industrial materials, equipment, and supplies using company van or rack truck, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service. Your expertise in driving, manual handling, and warehouse logistics will drive efficiency and satisfaction on every route. Duties Safely operate van or rack truck to deliver industrial goods across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations before each shift Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and supporting warehouse team members Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to promote safety and professionalism during deliveries Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role involving commercial driving and route management Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating commercial vans and rack truck Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safety at all times Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; familiarity with load & unload procedures using pallet jacks or material handling equipment Warehouse experience including warehouse operations, moving stock, and manual handling skills is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving materials, and operating heavy machinery when applicable If you're ready to bring energy to your career while ensuring safe deliveries that keep our operations running smoothly, we want you on our team!
