Duties Safely operate Amazon Cargo Van vehicles to deliver products to customers' locations Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring adherence to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile devices and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with company policies Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and supporting material handling activities Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving manual handling and moving goods Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation preferred Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to scheduled delivery timelines Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication Embark on a rewarding career that combines your love for driving with the satisfaction of delivering essential goods!
