Duties Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and ensure all transportation equipment is in top condition Upsell products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and meet sales targets Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and adhere to organizational procedures for record-keeping Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or automobile transportation with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and heavy lifting practices Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory counts, and transaction handling Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation Ability to build lasting customer relationships through friendly service and professional conduct Organizational skills to manage schedules, deliveries, and documentation effectively Sales aptitude with the ability to upsell products or services confidently while maintaining customer trust Embark on a career that keeps you moving while making a difference!
