• Candidate will be employed by an Independent Contractor for FedEx.
• Employee will report daily to our Wayne location where the truck will be loaded for dispatch.
• Driver will complete pick-up and delivery within a geographically defined area until work is finished.
• Applicant must be available to work weekends, as we are a 7 day operation.
• Position includes driving a company owned vehicle in a safe manner.
• Pick-ups and deliveries must be made within a designated timeframe.
• Signatures and pictures will be collected through company scanner at each location.
• Fueling of vehicle and reporting any known issues to management.
• Applicant must be 21+ years old and have a clean driver's license with no moving violations, tickets, or at fault accidents within the last 3 years of driving history.
• Candidate needs to pass a D.O.T. drug screen and physical.
• Must pass a road test using an 18 foot step van while having at least 1 year verifiable driving experience. No CDL is necessary.
• You must be able to handle packages that weigh up to 150lbs.
• New hire must have command of English language. .
• Employees are paid salaried on a per day basis at a daily rate.
• Employees will be compensated weekly through direct deposit.
• Sick days and vacation days are accrued and paid based on length of employment.
• 4 paid holidays upon start of employment.
• Company uniforms will be provided.
• Overtime may be available.
