This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to combine efficient delivery services with essential kitchen support, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help drive our success forward! Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for local deliveries Load, unload, and organize products using manual handling techniques Follow established routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for safe driving practices Deliver orders promptly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service and professional communication Assist in food preparation, kitchen cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper manual handling practices to ensure safety during moving and loading activities Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with team members Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving and kitchen operations preferred. If you don't have experience in a kitchen, we'll train you. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating vans, or large SUVs is desireable. Ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude, friendly, and professional demeanor Familiarity with basic vehicle mechanics like changing a tire and following dashboard warning signs (check oil, tire pressure is low, etc) Adherence of DOT regulations, traffic laws, food safety, and weight handling safety standards in the workplace Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values respect, safety, efficiency, and excellent service.
