Part-Time ReStore Driver & Store Associate Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity ReStore - Farmington, NM Part-Time | Approximately 10-20 hours per week Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity is seeking a dependable, safety-minded, and community-focused Part-Time ReStore Driver & Store Associate . This position combines donation pickups with in-store ReStore duties . The employee will drive the ReStore truck while towing a trailer to pick up donated furniture, appliances, building materials, and household goods. When not on pickups, the employee will assist with processing donations, organizing merchandise, helping customers, and supporting daily ReStore operations. Responsibilities Safely operate the ReStore truck while towing a trailer for donation pickups. Load, secure, transport, and unload donated items safely. Provide friendly, professional service to donors and customers. Follow ReStore donation acceptance guidelines and safety procedures. Use straps, dollies, carts, and other material-handling equipment appropriately. Receive, sort, clean, price, stage, and organize donated merchandise. Assist customers and help load purchases as needed. Keep the sales floor, donation areas, truck, trailer, and work areas clean and organized. Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers. Report vehicle, equipment, donation, or safety concerns to management. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Must meet organizational and insurance driving requirements. Must be comfortable safely operating a truck while towing a trailer. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet applicable organizational background-screening requirements. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation , including: Frequently standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying. Frequently lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds . Safely moving heavier or bulky items using team lifting and/or appropriate equipment . Regularly loading and unloading merchandise and safely entering and exiting the ReStore truck. Schedule Part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week. Schedule may vary based on donation pickups and ReStore needs and will include both driving and in-store duties.
