Job Summary We are seeking reliable Independent Contract Delivery Drivers to provide local package delivery services throughout the Western New York area. Contractors use their own vehicles to pick up and deliver assigned packages while operating as independent businesses. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity , not an employee position. Contractors are responsible for providing and maintaining their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, registration, and other expenses associated with completing delivery services. Contractors have the ability to accept or decline available delivery opportunities and are responsible for completing accepted deliveries within the required delivery window. Ideal contractors are dependable, organized, comfortable using a smartphone and navigation applications, and capable of independently managing their deliveries while providing professional service to customers.satisfaction. Responsibilities Arrive at the designated pickup location for a 6:30 AM package pickup. Sort and organize your assigned packages prior to leaving the pickup location. Plan and route your own deliveries based on the packages and delivery locations you accept. Load packages safely and efficiently into your personal vehicle. Complete accepted deliveries accurately and within the required delivery timeframe. Use a smartphone and delivery application to scan packages, navigate to delivery locations, and document completed deliveries. Follow customer delivery instructions and ensure packages are left in appropriate and secure locations. Communicate any delivery issues, damaged packages, or packages that cannot be delivered. Maintain your own reliable vehicle, including fuel, maintenance, registration, and insurance. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and pickup-location personnel. Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred. safety standards. Requirements Possess a valid driver's license. Must be 21 years of age or older. Have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for completing package deliveries. Maintain current vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance. Have a reliable smartphone with an active data plan. Ability to regularly lift, carry, and deliver packages. Ability to independently sort, organize, and route packages. Must be available for the 6:30 AM package pickup time on days you accept delivery work. Ability to use GPS/navigation and delivery applications. Must be dependable and able to complete accepted deliveries within the required delivery timeframe. Responsible for all expenses associated with operating your vehicle, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and repairs. Must provide a completed W-9 and any required independent contractor documentation. Previous delivery experience is required .
