A Sales Delivery Driver drives a truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sells or delivers goods, such as food products, including restaurant take-out items, or pick up or deliver items such as commercial laundry. May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.
Temco Logistics is hiring experienced 26ft Box Truck Delivery Drivers in the Dunkirk, NY area. As a Delivery Service Partner for one of the nation's largest home improvement retailers, you'll deliver large and bulky products to residential customers while providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company 26ft box truck. Pick up loads from local home improvement stores. Deliver products to customers throughout Dunkirk and surrounding areas. Complete 15-20 deliveries daily. Use a handheld device to manage delivery routes and confirmations. Provide excellent customer service during each delivery. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license Minimum 21 years of age Clean Driving Record Minimum of 6 months of verifiable box truck driving experience. Ability to lift to 75 lbs. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Be a team player with a strong work ethic. Ability to obtain company paid DOT Med card Experience in any of the following is a plus: Box Truck Driver Delivery Driver Route Driver Furniture Delivery Appliance Delivery Final Mile Delivery Non-CDL Driver Warehouse & Delivery Operations Schedule Approximately 8-10 hour shifts Full-time position 5-6 day work week Ability to work Saturdays Local routes with daily home time and off every Sunday Temco Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
