Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to work with warehouse equipment and driving various types of vehicles, including box trucks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmission, to transport goods across designated routes Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques Ensure accurate loading and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit Deliver packages and products to customers in a timely and professional manner Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions or concerns during delivery Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of deliveries made Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies during route driving Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or moving stock when necessary Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver is helpful Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver license preferred for specific vehicle types Experience operating box trucks and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools Prior experience in moving or warehouse environments is advantageous Valid driver's license Candidates should be dependable, organized, and committed to delivering excellent service on every route.
