Root Bound Incorporated, a contracted service provider for FedEx, is looking to hire full-time and seasonal package pick-up and delivery drivers. Job consists of dispatching from Horseheads NY station with a company-provided truck and delivering packages to one of the following areas: Corning, Painted Post, Addison, Lindley, and Pine City.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be at least 21 years of age Clean background check Excellent knowledge of and adherence to traffic laws and road safety regulations Ability to interpret and operate GPS and other navigation tools Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 150 pounds Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screening Positive Attitude Essential Duties / Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport and pick up packages at designated locations Adherent to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and report any issues Deliver packages on time in a safe, respectful manner We look for dynamic people who: are hardworking, team-oriented and take initiative have great attitudes, high energy and enjoy focusing on success can communicate well, set good examples and comfortably take the lead will hold themselves accountable for doing a great job everyday

Benefits:

Day time schedule, typical work hours 10am-630pm Paid training PTO (includes sick, personal)

Pay:

$21.25 - $23.00 per hour
