Overview:

We are a FedEx Ground Contractor, and we are seeking reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to customers in a safe, timely manner. Drivers will be operating out of the Marcy terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses. Our drivers will be operating step vans provided by the employer. No CDL required!

Pay:

$24.00 - $24.00 Per Hour + Bonuses Daily Stop Incentive - Receive a bonus for every stop delivered to Full time is Four 10 hour shifts due to the rural nature Part time is also available (must work a minimum of 2-3 days a week) Must have weekend Availability Additional workdays available

Delivery Driver Job Information:

Our routes dispatch between 8AM-9AM and are completed once all packages are delivered (typically 5:00 PM). This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the vehicle at each stop.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles (step vans, cutaways, work vans) to deliver products to customers Follow delivery routes and time schedules Loading and Unloading packages from the truck Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Inspect vehicles for mechanical items/safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Maintain accurate delivery records

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Employer reimbursement provided) Applicants must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 1 year of verifiable work driving experience in the last 3 years.

MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA DELIVERY, LANDSCAPE DRIVER IS ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE

Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations helpful Background check required Physically able to lift packages from up to 50 lbs, and move up to 150 lbs with a handcart May deliver up to 150 parcels per day
