This energetic role involves safely and efficiently delivering packages using your Amazon provided vehicle, ensuring each customer receives exceptional service. You'll be responsible for navigating routes confidently, handling goods with care, and maintaining a positive, professional attitude throughout your day. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at each destination. Interact courteously with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Use mobile devices to manage delivery schedules, scan packages, and update delivery statuses in real-time. Conduct safety checks on vehicles regularly to maintain optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, weight handling, and any incidents during route driving. Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling practices. Ability to lift heavy packages safely using proper lifting techniques; experience with heavy lifting is preferred. Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices. Comfortable operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or load & unload tools. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude on the road and in interactions with clients.
