Job Description

Delivery Driver - Flower Shop Bassett Flowers is looking for a reliable and friendly delivery driver to join our team! This position plays an important role in helping us deliver beautiful floral arrangements and excellent customer service to our community.

Responsibilities:

Safely deliver floral arrangements, plants, and gift items to homes, businesses, funeral homes, and event locations Handle flowers with care to ensure arrangements arrive in perfect condition Provide courteous and professional customer interactions during deliveries Assist with loading and unloading deliveries Assist with general shop tasks as needed, including: Taking out garbage and recyclables Cleaning and processing fresh flowers Watering and maintaining outdoor plants Keeping the shop, work areas, and delivery area clean and organized Follow delivery routes and schedules efficiently Assist the team with other general duties as needed

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable driving a small delivery van or shop vehicle Ability to lift and carry arrangements and plants (up to ~30 lbs) Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented Friendly attitude and good communication skills Willingness to assist with both deliveries and general shop duties Preferred (but not required): Previous delivery or customer service experience Familiarity with the local area Previous experience working in a flower shop, garden center, or similar environment

Position Details:

Part-time / Full-time available Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred Holiday availability required (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.) Work is primarily performed in person at our flower shop and throughout the local delivery area Join a small, creative team where attention to detail, teamwork, and kindness matter!
