Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our Employee owned company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering fuel to our loyal customers. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service. Duties Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload fuel, ensuring proper handling and situational awareness. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate HAZ-MAT endorsements. Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, particularly with route driving. Knowledge of propane and liquid fuel delivery. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transport of hazardous materials Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items, pulling the delivery hose and working outside. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
