Position Summary At Papa John's, our Delivery Drivers are the face of our brand. Drivers are responsible for delivering orders safely, accurately, and with outstanding customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized restaurant. Drivers also assist with food preparation, order assembly, cleaning, and other in-store duties between deliveries. Key Responsibilities Deliver customer orders safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws. Provide friendly, professional customer service with every delivery. Ensure all orders are accurate before leaving the restaurant. Collect payments and process cash, credit card, and digital transactions. Maintain delivery times that meet Papa John's service standards. Assist with preparing pizza boxes, sauces, and other restaurant supplies. Help make pizzas and prepare food items as trained. Answer phones and assist customers placing orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, restrooms, and parking lot. Wash dishes, take out trash, stock inventory, and complete assigned cleaning tasks. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Communicate effectively with managers and team members. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old (or meet state minimum age requirements). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Current automobile insurance. Reliable vehicle available for deliveries. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift. Enter and exit a vehicle multiple times during each shift. Work in varying weather conditions. Safely navigate stairs and uneven surfaces while making deliveries. Work Schedule Flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
