Delivery Driver Peekskill, NY / Part-Time / Statewide New York Routes The road is the job. Honey King is looking for a dependable driver to move our products from our facility in Peekskill to customers across New York State. This is not a local delivery route where every day looks the same. One day may be Hudson Valley and NYC. Another may mean Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, or a longer run across the state. Most days will run around 8-10 hours. We plan routes with enough time for the real world: traffic, weather, customer delays, and the unexpected. Some days may run up to approximately 12 hours. That applies to the products we make and to how they arrive at our customers. The driver is the last part of that process. The work You start in Peekskill. We give you the vehicle, the orders, the route, and the information you need. From there, you own the day. Load and verify your deliveries before leaving. Drive scheduled routes throughout New York State. Deliver to licensed cannabis retailers accurately and professionally. Keep orders, manifests, and delivery documentation organized. Confirm deliveries and obtain required signatures. Communicate when traffic, weather, receiving delays, or another issue changes the plan. Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety issues. Return to Peekskill and close out the route properly. Some routes are straightforward. Some are long. We do not expect anyone to drive when authorities restrict travel or when conditions make a route unsafe. But if ordinary New York rain, snow, winter driving, traffic, or a long day behind the wheel is something you regularly try to avoid, this is probably not the right job. You You have a valid driver's license and a clean, acceptable driving record. You are comfortable driving throughout New York State. You can handle NYC and Long Island traffic as well as long-distance highway routes. You are comfortable driving in changing weather and seasonal conditions. You are dependable. If the route starts early, you are there early. You can use GPS and make sensible route decisions when traffic changes. You communicate when there is a problem instead of waiting until the end of the day. You can follow manifests, delivery instructions, and compliance procedures accurately. You can work independently without needing someone to manage every stop. You understand that finishing the route matters more than finishing at exactly the same time every day. Experience in route delivery, wholesale distribution, courier work, logistics, or professional driving is preferred. The schedule This is primarily a Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday position. Most delivery days are expected to run approximately 8-10 hours , depending on the route. Longer statewide routes may run up to approximately 12 hours . Start and finish times vary. Early starts will sometimes be necessary. Expected schedule is approximately 24-36 hours per week . The pay $23-$25 per hour , depending on experience and driving background. Honey King provides the delivery vehicle and covers authorized fuel and toll expenses. This is an hourly position. You are paid for the time you work. The bar Three things matter here. Be reliable. Stores are expecting their deliveries. Calling out at the last minute can disrupt an entire day's route. Drive safely. Getting there safely matters more than shaving ten minutes off the trip. Own the route. Once you leave Peekskill, we should not have to manage you stop by stop. Know where you're going, stay organized, communicate when something changes, and complete the day properly. If you want a predictable desk schedule, this is not it.
