Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, no CDL required, and become an essential part of our logistics network! In this role, you will operate refrigerated trucks with delivery to schools, hospitals, c-stores and grocery stores with a regularly assigned route. Duties Safely operate trucks with manual or automatic transmissions, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of frozen foods and dairy products. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, safety hazards, or compliance violations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Requirements Experience preferred but will train the right person. Valid driver's license. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight such as dangerous goods or specialty loads. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving. Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission comfortably and safely. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance and risk mitigation.
