xperienced Courier / Delivery Driver Poughkeepsie, NY → New York City & New Jersey Artworldsign is looking for an experienced, reliable, and professional delivery driver to transport signs, graphics, and related materials from our Poughkeepsie facility to museums and cultural institutions throughout New York City. Occasional pickups and deliveries in New Jersey will also be required. This is an important position for our company. Our deliveries are time-sensitive, and late or missed deliveries cannot happen. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of being dependable, communicating clearly, and representing our company professionally when dealing with museums and their staff. Responsibilities Pick up finished signs and graphics from our Poughkeepsie facility. Safely transport materials to museums and other locations throughout NYC and occasionally New Jersey. Deliver directly to the appropriate receiving department, loading dock, security desk, or other designated location. Navigate NYC traffic, parking, loading zones, museum security procedures, freight elevators, and receiving requirements. Carefully handle and protect signs, graphics, and other finished materials during transportation. Obtain a signature and name of the person receiving the shipment for every delivery. Provide confirmation of delivery to Artworldsign immediately after completion. Communicate promptly regarding traffic, delays, parking, or any unexpected issues. Be available for deliveries scheduled several days in advance as well as occasional last-minute deliveries. Represent Artworldsign in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Requirements Extensive NYC driving experience is required. Previous professional courier, delivery, logistics, art handling, printing, signage, or similar experience strongly preferred. Excellent knowledge of Manhattan and the NYC metropolitan area. Must have a clean and reliable driving record. Must be dependable and punctual. Must be comfortable with time-sensitive deliveries and tight delivery windows. Must be professional, friendly, and respectful when interacting with museum personnel and clients. Must have excellent communication skills and a working cell phone. Must be able to handle loading and unloading of signage and graphics. Must have a reliable vehicle in good condition that is appropriate for the size of our shipments. Must carry appropriate insurance for commercial delivery work. Must be willing to make occasional New Jersey pickups/deliveries. Must be available for both scheduled and occasional last-minute assignments.

Vehicle & Expenses Driver provides their own vehicle and insurance. Gas/mileage and tolls will be reimbursed according to the agreed-upon arrangement. Vehicle must be clean, reliable, well-maintained, and suitable for safely transporting finished signs and graphics. You should be the type of person who arrives early, plans ahead, communicates when necessary, handles unexpected NYC problems calmly, and does not leave a delivery until you know the shipment has been properly received. Experience delivering to museums, galleries, businesses, exhibitions, trade shows, or other institutional clients is a major plus. Reliability is our #1 priority.

Pay:

$25.38 - $30.56 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
