Job Summary We need a dependable Delivery Driver to transport steel orders safely and promptly to local job sites and customers. You will operate a non-tractor-trailer flatbed or truck, load and secure heavy metal cargo, and represent our shop with professional customer service. regulations, and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of transportation Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip Document delivery details accurately, including mileage logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports Communicate effectively with the Shop Supervisor regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit Experience Proven experience in truck driving Demonstrated ability to operate different types of trucks such as truck and trailers, flatbeds Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning and execution Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight loading and unloading Valid driver's license

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
