Job Description

Driver will deliver eggs to Hannaford stores, and other locations, within New York State in the Glens Falls/Lake George area. Two route days -Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 4:30 AM, about 10 - 12 hours per week. If more hours are wanted, you can load the trucks, and possibly add a third route (8 hours) on Fridays in the Saratoga area. Need a polite, reliable driver. Necessary Skills and Responsibilities:
Transport eggs from our farm to Hannaford stores using specific delivery routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations and with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Proven work experience as a truck driver Ability to drive early morning hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Valid truck driving license
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 25.0 per week
