Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and energetic Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to customers and clients across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and address any issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to keep the truck in optimal condition. Adhere to safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items during load-in and load-out processes. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus. Familiarity with manual handling equipment such as hand carts and pallet jacks. Strong knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and safe lifting practices. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently while maintaining proper ergonomics. Customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
